ბიოგრაფია
დეკერის წარმოშობის შესახებ არაფერია ცნობილი. როგორც დრამატურგი, ის პირველად მოიხსენიება 1598 წელს ჯგუფ „ლორდ-ადმირალის მსახურებთან“ მიმართებაში. ძირითადად ის მუშაობდა სხვა დრამატურგებთან ერთად თანაავტორად. მრავალი მისი პიესა დაკარგულია.

„ოთხი ჩიტი ნოეს კიდობნიდან“ („Four Birds of Noah’s Ark“, 1609) — უბრალო და ნათელი ლოცვების წიგნია.
დეკერის პროზაიკული პამფლეტების სტილი აბრალო და გამჭვირვალეა, ხოლო სიმღერები ტექსტები მის პიესებში ელიზაბეტური პოეზიის საუკეთესო შედევრების დონისაა.
გავლენა
