ბიოგრაფია

ლიტერატურულ კარიერამდე იგანი მათემატიკის შესწავლით იყო გატაცებული. დასავლეთ ავსტრალიის უნივერსიტეტში სწავლის შემდეგ მან მათემატიკის მეცნიერებათა ბაკალავრის წოდება მოიპოვა.[1][2][3]

იგანი არ ესწრება სამეცნიერო ფანტასტიკისადმი მიძღვნილ ლიტერატურულ კონვენციებს,[7] არ არიგებს ავტოგრაფებს. მისი განაცხადებით, ინტერნეტში მის ფოტოებს ვერ შეხვდებით,[8] მიუხედავად იმისა, რომ სამეცნიერო ფანტასტიკის ფანებმა გუგლის საძიებო სისტემაში არაერთი ფოტო მოიძიეს, ავტორმა განაცხადა, რომ ხსენებული ფოტოები მის სეხნიებს ეკუთნით.[9]
