მონათმფლობელობა — სოციალური წყობა, რომლის დროსაც დაშვებულია ზოგიერთი ხალხის (რომელთაც მონებს, ყმებს უწოდებენ) სხვა ხალხის მფლობელობაში ყოფნა. პატრონი სრულად ფლობს საკუთარი მონის (ყმის) პირადობას საკუთრების უფლებით. სხვის საკუთრებაში მყოფი მონა საკუთარ თავს არ ეკუთვნის, უუფლებოა და, შესაბამისად, ვერ განკარგავს თავს.
